Mission Statement

The object of the Wetaskiwin Agricultural Society is to encourage and support improvement in agriculture and in the quality of life of persons living in the rural and urban communities by developing programs, services and facilities based on the needs in the community.

Belief Statement

The Wetaskiwin Agricultural Society will accomplish it’s mission through various activities such as community fairs, rodeo, gymkhanas, Farmers’ Market, riding clubs, heritage and cultural events, community youth programs, community beautification and 4H.

Projects Supports

4H Clubs, Scholarships at University of Alberta and Olds College plus the Freda Nelles Scholarship at the Wetaskiwin Composite High School, Royal Canadian Legion, WDACS, Farmers’ Market, Alberta Community and Co-operative Association, Wetaskiwin Arts & Music Festival
